Each of our programs include a go-home session, where our expert trainer will help you understand what you’ll need to do going forward in order to maintain your dog’s training. At Torpedo K9, we’re dog lovers first. Our founder, Nathan Kelley, has nearly 30 years of experience in professional K9 training. A nationally recognized expert in canine behavior and training, Nathan has spent time as a K9 handler and K9 trainer for the Henrico County Police Department’s K9 unit. While Torpedo K9’s initial mission was to train police and military K9 units, we opened our doors to civilian dogs in 2018.

We believe in every dog’s potential, and we never turn away a dog due to aggression or their breed. Our board and train programs take place on seven beautiful acres in New Kent County, VA, where the dogs are surrounded by nature. We provide indoor and outdoor training, as well as plenty of fenced-in space for the dogs to play. Our climate controlled boarding facility is clean and secure, with comfortable kennels for each dog.
